Summary

Neil Gaiman tells the story of Nobody Owens, a boy whose family is murdered and who is raised by the ghosts of a graveyard. Sheltered by the dead and a mysterious guardian, Bod grows up learning the secrets of the cemetery while the killer still hunts him. Loosely inspired by Kipling's The Jungle Book, the novel weaves fantasy, mystery, and a tender coming of age tale among the headstones.
